Climate change is affecting a myriad of industries, such as transportation, agriculture, food production, and consumer goods. Further, the current administration has set goals to tackle the climate crisis domestically and abroad to put the country and the world on the path to a sustainable climate.

PANELISTS
Nair Flores is the VP of Legal at Memphis Meats. Memphis Meats is a leader in cell-cultured meats and has a goal of feeding 10 billion people by 2050 while preserving the environment. Prior to joining Memphis Meats, Nair was not only Lyft’s first IP lawyer but also the head of its intellectual property legal team.
Nicole Bartow is the Chief Litigation Counsel at Rivian Automotive. Rivian designs emissions-free Electric Adventure Vehicles for sustainable transportation and adventure. Prior to joining Rivian, Nicole was a Senior Director of Litigation at Uber.
Laurie Lubiano is IP and Product Counsel at The Climate Corporation. The Climate Corporation is one of the world’s leading digital agriculture companies that provides tools for farmers to examine weather, soil, and field data to sustainably increase productivity. Laurie also serves as a public board member for the Medical Board of California.
Moderator, Rebecca Horton is an IP attorney at Polsinelli, and specializes in patent, copyright and trademark litigation.
